Prof. Tang Wei Secretary of University Party Committee Secretary of University Discipline Inspection Commission
Prof. Tang Wei currently holds the position of the Secretary of University Party Committee and Disciplinary Inspection Commission of BNUZ. He was born in 1952 and in 1980 he was enrolled in BNU for a master degree in Philosophy. After graduation, he stayed in BNU and began his teaching and researching career. He once served as Director of BNU Teaching and Research Office, Deputy Director and General Secretary of Department of Philosophy. Since 1996, he had served BNU as Director of Party Affairs, Director of President’s Office, Assistant to President, and member of Party Standing Committee.
In July, 2002, Prof. Tang became one of the senior leaders of BNU. From August, 2002 to August, 2005, he was the Vice President of Xinjiang Normal University. From September, 2006 to August, 2012, he was Deputy Secretary of University Party Committee and Secretary of Disciplinary Inspection Commission of BNU.
Prof. Tang became associate professor in 1991, and has received the special government allowance since 1993. He became professor in 1996 and doctoral supervisor in 2000. Currently, Prof. Tang is the council member of China Institute of Historical Materialism and the Research Association of Chinese Administrative System Reform. He has publicized more than 10 books including Management Methodology, Management, People and Modern Management, Introduction of Management Philosophy (Co-author), Management Philosophy (Co-author), and Philosophy of Man (Co-author), and over 30 papers including The Modern Management Value of Democratic Centralism, Democratic Centralism and Scientific Decision-Making, Deng Xiaoping Thought of Risk Decision-Making, The Cultural Responsibility of Higher Education Institutions, and Empirical Forecasting Methods in Management Activities.
