The Ninth Guangdong University Law Debate Contest was held at Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai successfully from April 19^th to April 20^th. In total, 12 university debate teams from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou and Zhuhai participated in this contest. With the instruction from Mr. He Guangcai, the debate team from BNUZ School of Government and Law won the champion. Shi Hongyu, Zheng Yichao, Zheng Bowen were elected as best debaters.

In this two-day contest, the debate team from BNUZ School of Government and Law met with South China Normal University, Shenzhen University, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai. Facing the strong contestants and various debate topics, the debate team from BNUZ School of Government and Law finally won the champion with solid logics and strong debate skills.

Outside the contest, BNUZ debaters also communicated with other debaters and by sharing the debate experiences, deep friendships were established.

School of Government and Law always attaches great importance to students’ professional qualities, critical thinking and presentation skills. This contest, as the first level debate contest at Guangdong Province, offers great platform for learning and sharing. The debate team from BNUZ School of Government and Law actively participated in this contest and performed well in the past contests. As the second winner of the sixth and seventh contest, BNUZ law debate team enjoys high reputation in the Guangdong university debate teams.
