Recently, anothera Chinese-foreign cCooperatively-run Pprogram with a major of Finance carried out by BNUZ and Saint Mary’s’s University(SMU), Canada has been approved by China’s Ministry of Education. This year, there areonly three such programs of such kind atin Guangdong pProvince being are approved by Ministry of Education, among which and this one program is the only Chinese-foreign Cooperatively-run Programone at undergraduate level.

This Bachelor of Commerce Program with a major in Finance between BNUZ and SMU is a 4-year full-time program. Students would study at BNUZ campus. Upon completion of the study, students who pass Students who successfully complete their study under this Program and pass all examinations as stipulated by the Educational Plan would receive BNUZ Graduation Certificate of Higher Education (Major in Finance); and Sstudents who meet the degree awarding requirements would receive Bachelor of Economics degree from BNUZ and the degree of Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from SMU. Superior teaching is a core for this program. Excellent faculties from both BNUZ and SMU are selected to teach in English or bilingually, This program selects excellent faculty from both sides to teach either with English or bilingually, which enables student to learn native authentic English and make access to latest financial and business knowledge without with no need to going abroad. A professional management committee would set up and comprise by members of two sides to ensure the high standards of this program.

BNUZ attaches great importance to internationalization and has already carried out cooperation with universities in England, America, Germany, Singapore, Portugal, France, Japan, and South Korea etc. The approval of this program is a great breakthrough, which also and marks BNUZ’s international exchange and cooperation in BNUZ has entered a new stage.
