On January 15th of last semester, the School of Sports Leisure in BNUZ successfully held the Establishment Ceremony of Practical Teaching Base in Zhuhai International Circuit Golf Club. The Vice President of BNUZ Bofei Yan, the Minister of teaching division Zhiqiang Zhou, the Dean of Sports Leisure School Prof. Zhong, the Associate Dean Shunlai Zhao, the Chairman of Lakewood Club Mr. Zongming Xia, the manager Jiafu Xie, and the related leaders and teacher representatives attended the ceremony.

In sharing resources and promoting cooperation on golf and other recreational sports between Zhuhai International Circuit Golf Club and the School of Sports Leisure in BNUZ, the two sides made an agreement to build the Practical Teaching Base of BNUZ in the golf company.

During the signing ceremony, both sides presented and exchanged ideas in the forms of video and PowerPoint, which offered a more intuitive image to the audiences.

The establishment ceremony formally started at 9 o’clock in the morning. The Chairman of Lakewood Club Mr. Zongming Xia gave a speech firstly. Then the Vice President of BNUZ Bofei Yan who represented the university and the School of Sports Leisure, expressed gratitude to the golf club. He also showed sincere hope of promoting talents through the bidirectional mode of development and cooperation between university and enterprise to further drive the future needs of community.

The Chairman of Lakewood Club Mr. Zongming Xia and Dean of Sports Leisure School Prof. Zhong signed the cooperation agreement on the behalf of both sides. The Minister of teaching division Zhiqiang Zhou from BNUZ awarded the plaque of Practical Teaching Base.

For better cooperation, the School of Sports Leisure in BNUZ also hired Mr. Zongming Xia and Mr. Jiafu Xie as visiting professors. Their honorary certificates were issued at the same time.

In the future, the School of Sports Leisure will further improve school characteristics, enhance levels of educating students, and make more efforts in promoting practical teaching. In this way, more applied and specialized talents can be cultivated, and the system and platform of practical education can be developed.
