At the end of last semester, the School of Foreign Languages held a series of activities by inviting foreign teachers. Five lectures were held to help students getting to know more foreign history and culture, as well as improving their English. These activities received warmly welcome from both teachers and students.

The first lecture was presented by Sean McHugh. The theme is An Overview of Britain and Cultural Experience in Asia and Africa. The second was Discovering Oneself and Understanding Others: The Enneagram - An Exploration into 9 Basic Personality Types, which was offered by Mr. Brian Harrison from America. The third lecture was about the perspectives on visual arts, and it was carried out by Mr. Craig Voligny.

After the first lecture about Asia and Africa, Mr. Sean McHugh offered another seminar, sharing his experience of world travelling. Students were impressed by the tremendous differences between various countries and areas.

The last lecture in that semester was held by Dr. Matthew Conduct from UK. Three philosophical problems, which were discussed in contemporary Anglo-American philosophy, were introduced. The teacher also carefully answered students’ questions to help them better understand philosophy.

In addition, the School of Foreign Languages also held three events about cultural night. Presided by Ms. Linda Jean Visner, the Cookie party was successfully organized.

In these years, the School of Foreign Languages has kept holding activities by inviting foreign teachers. With a variety of themes and forms, students can have opportunities to communicate with foreign teachers directly. Through this way, their horizons can be broadened for meeting challenges in their future lives.
