On April 15th, a group of 22 students and teachers from the University of Northampton arrived at BNUZ for a three-day study exchanges with the students and teachers from BNUZ School of Management.
A series of activies will be conducted, including lectures, Chinese Taiji experimental class, visits to local business and city tour, etc. 30 students and teachers together were selected by SOM to pair with their counterparts from UK for one-to-one study. Such fashion of exchange and mutual help not only helps guests from UK to adapt to the new environment more quickly but also exposes Chinese students to different culture. Both sides expressed that they have learned a lot from such exchanges. They not only acquired knowledge but also learned about the cultural differences and different thinking pattern. SOM have been maintaining a good relationship with the University of Northampton. In the past three years, over twenty students and two teachers have gone to the University of Northampton to study and exchange.
Over the years, SOM has made great progress in international cooperation and exchanges. The School has been exploring on how to further develop the international programs and to establish broader exchange platforms, where more students will gain benifits and practice their cross-cultrual communication skills.
