On May 5th local time, our exchange students to IPB attended the 11th IPB Erasmus Mundus Event. Students and faculty from 18 countries including China, Porland, Mexico, Germany, Spain, etc. attended this year’s event.
Our exchanges students and faculty to IPB, together with the international students at the Chinese Culture Center, made several performances with Chinese characteristics like poem reading, Chinese dances, tea ceremony, etc., which received high remarks from the audiences.
On this year’s event, our exchange students and faculty not only promoted Chinese language, culture, hospitality and virtues, but also learned more about other different cultures and enhanced the mutual understanding and friendship.
EU Erasmus Mundus Program is a student exchange program which is named after Netherland Philosopher Desiderius Erasmus (1466—1536). This program is co-designed by institutions of higher education from different countries. Since 1987, EU has been awarding Erasmus Mundus and since 2004, Erasmus Mundus program has been renamed as Erasmus Mundus-World as a brand name in EU higher education.
