On April 24^th, the SFL held the 2014 teaching competition in room B206, Liyun Building. Four teachers from home and abroad participated in this contest.

During the contest, each contestant was required to give a presentation within 15 minutes. They all tried their best to show their unique teaching styles, rational or emotional, logical or interesting. All of them made a good performance. For instance, Mr. Brett Gearing focused on cultivating students’ divergent thinking by encouraging them to raise questions. Ms. Li Lei taught listening with an aid of video and audio, which was impressive. Ms. Lan Jing gave the lesson in a humorous and interactive way. And Mr. Wataru Sato emphasized key points to ensure the students more effective learnining.

Finally, Ms. Li lei won the First Prize, Mr. Wataru Sato the Second Prize, and Lan Jing and Mr. Brett Gearing the Third Prize.
