BNUZ freshmen’s parent meeting was held in the morning of September 11^th at the International Center. President Tu Qingyun, Vice presidents Fu Ailan and Wu Zhongkui presented at the orientation meeting, along with the heads of university academic and administrative departments including Prof. Zhu Meilin, head of Administration Division, Prof. Zhou Zhiqiang, head of Academic Division and Prof. Xia Kui, head of Integrated Service Division. Prof. Zhu Meilin presided over the meeting.

President Tu extended warm welcome to new students’ parents and he also expressed sincere thanks for their trust and support to BNUZ. He said that the orientation aims to provide a platform for new students and their parents to know BNUZ better as well as for the university to hear the demands and suggestions from the students and their parents.

In the discussion section, students’ parents expressed their great impression about heaven-like environment, fantastic facilities and kind-hearted staffs. Moreover, they are very satisfied with the campus safety, convenient location as well as the program development.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Fu Ailan delivered a closing speech. She said that the parents’ support to our university is a great encouragement to our work. Parents’ expectations to their children also make us feel more responsible to contribute to student’s future. She hopes parents can support and will always support BNUZ.

With the participation of over 150 students’ parents, the meeting of this year concluded successfully and received fantastic feedback from the media.
