The School of Chinese of BNUZ offers the Chinese Preparatory Course for foreign students. Students can accumulate capability of both language and communication which is inevitable for study in China.
Eligibility: International students with the completion of a high school diploma, wishing to study in the major of Chinese and others.
Features of Courses: 
Setting courses(half year and one year) for students with different aims respectively; 
Intensive teaching mode with task-based characteristic. 
Classes with small number. 
Master the skills of using Chinese in daily life, through abundant interesting activities with high efficiency, in short time.


Half-year Course
Duration: Six month
Aim: 
Chinese skill of outstanding students reaches New HSK 4 
Students can apply for majors of Science, Economics, Engineering and Administrative Management, or skip to Year Two of major of Chinese in BNUZ.
Total lesson number: 600 lessons
Course Arrangement: 
Elementary integrative Chinese（260 lessons*） 
Elementary Chinese listening（120 lessons） 
Elementary Chinese speaking（120 lessons） 
Training of Chinese characters（100 lessons）


One-year Course
Duration: 12 months
Aim: 
Chinese skill of outstanding students reaches New HSK 5 
Students can apply for majors of Literature, Education and Law in BNUZ.
Total lesson number: 1240 lessons (first semester:600 lessons; second semester: 640 lessons)

First Semester: 
Elementary integrative Chinese（260 lessons） 
Elementary Chinese listening（120 lessons） 
Elementary Chinese speaking（120 lessons） 
Training of Chinese characters （100 lessons）
Second Semester: 
Pre-intermediate integrative Chinese（300 lessons） 
Pre-intermediate Chinese listening & speaking（120 lessons） 
Pre-intermediate Chinese reading（120 lessons） 
Pre-intermediate Chinese writing（100 lessons）
Note: applicants can skip to the second semester if they have passed New HSK4.


Fees:
Registration fee:350 RMB
Tuition: 24000 RMB（Half-year Course），48000 RMB（One-year Course），teaching material will be charged according to the price.
Fees of accommodation: 1700RMB/person/year
